The Bloomington City council voted to amend one of its city codes tonight. The code states, any business or store that sells alcohol must be 100 ft or more from a church, school or hospital.
In a 9-0 unanimous decision the Bloomington City Council voted to improve the city's firefighting quality by allowing Fire Department to buy new turnout gear. The new gear, Globe Custom GXtreme 3.0, will cost nearly $300,000.
