Caterpillar Hires Four Firms For Study

As Caterpillar prepares to conduct an in depth study for upgrading and modernizing its corporate headquarters in downtown Peoria, the company has contracted with four companies that offer extensive design and build experience. Gensler, a design and architecture firm ;Turner Corporation, a construction management firm; Farnsworth Group, an engineering and architecture firm; and Environ, a technical and scientific consultancy firm were hired. Over the next several months, a Caterpillar study team will be defining the facilities, technological and organizational needs for an increasingly global enterprise.
