A Bloomington man, indicted for allegedly robbing a tobacco store at gunpoint, the first known robbery in the county targeting bath salts, pleaded NOT GUILTY Friday. 24 year old John Anthony Harness is charged with armed robbery and two counts of aggravated battery. Police claim Harness robbed the Global Tobacco Store June 6th, stealing money and bath salts. Those salts can be inhaled and can give you a high. A bill banning those salts is now before the governor. Harness is also charged with spitting on two officers during his arrest. Because of that, his bond was set at 325 thousand dollars. Harness will be back in court July 22nd.
