Galesburg Murder Suspect Makes Court Appearance

  A Galesburg murder suspect made his first court appearance Friday in Knox County court charged with three counts of murder accountability. The judge ordered 18 year old Michael Garrett back to court with his court appointed public defender Monday, July 11th. Garrett, along with 18 year old Michael Fisher and 21 year old Kareem Dixon, both of Galesburg and 46 year old Overton Fisher are all charged in connection with the shooting at Kiwanis Park of 21 year old Jemell Ware of Galesburg. A 16 year old is also charged and remains in the juvenile facility.
