Heyworth Mom Pleads NOT GUILTY in Child Endangerment

  The Heyworth mother of a three year old girl, who died in April, pleaded NOT GUILTY Friday to a grand jury indictment charging her with child endangerment. 25 year old Candis Ethridge is facing charges in connection with the death of Destiny Cox. Authorities say the child died of blunt force trauma to the head.A bond reduction hearing will be held for Ethridge next week.  Ethridge's boyfriend, 23 year old David Gharrett is charged with murder. Gharrett was also in court Friday and a judge ordered DNA testing in his case. Gharrett will be back in court September 2nd.
