Two men, both of whom are on parole for burglary from Winnebago County, have been arrested and could be linked to a rash of burglaries over the summer. Peoria Police arrested Kenneth Metcalf of Peoria and David Heidel of Creve Coeur last Thursday iun connection with the burglary of a Washington home. Police say the men could be involved in as many as three dozen break ins, spanning Peoria, Fulton, Tazewell and Woodford counties. The break ins began a few months ago and targeted unlocked cars, homes and garages. Metcalf is also facing a drug charge in Peoria County.
