Two Chicago Men Indicted in Peoria in ATM Incident
Two Chicago area men were indicted Tuesday in Peoria for allegedly using a scanning device at a local ATM machine, devices which can be used to steal people's bank information. 22 year old Svetoslav Nachev and 20 year old Petar Petrovski are charged with unlawful use of a scanning device. Police say a customer became suspicious Sunday and called police after she thought the ATM machine looked different. Police say they found a device attached to the machine, which is used to steal people's bank information. Police spotted the suspects sitting in a car nearby. They were later arrested. Federal authorities have also been called in to investigate.
