Thank You, Dr. Pietro Tonino!

Your kindness, skill, and care are helping me move forward after a bad car crash

PEORIA, IL - Every year, there are about 6 million car crashes. As a result, 90 people die in an accident each day and 3 million people get hurt. On July 6th of 2016, I was injured in a car crash, and it wasn't my fault. What was critical for me, as with others injured in accidents, are the steps that follow, steps that can mean the difference between living a normal life or one that can leave you trapped by pain and endless suffering.

My first guest, Dr. Pietro Tonino, my orthopedic surgeon, has played a key role in helping me move forward. For that, I will be eternally grateful. He goes the extra mile for his patients, really listens, and offers hope and help. Dr. Tonino is the Program Director for Sports Medicine and a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation at Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine.
