Marchtoberfest heralds the end of Winter and the start of Spring, much like Oktoberfest signals the end of Summer and the Beginning of fall. The event is sponsored by Harmonie.
A special buffet for $12 a person will consist of Schnitzel vom Schwein, Schweinbarten, bratwurst, Bavarian baked chicken, German potato salad, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, spaetzle, sauerkraut, and red cabbage. Apple strudel or apple cake for dessert is $2 extra.

Entertainment will also be provided from 12:30-5:00PM For groups of 8 or more please call (309) 691-7484 to make reservations.
Traditionally, the beers served at Oktoberfest were brewed in March or spring and then stored underground during the summer before being served in September. German summers were typically too hot to brew lagers. These Marzen (March) biers were the historic forerunner of the Oktoberfest biers of today. Special beers will also be available for the event.
The Lindenhof features a full bar with three German beers on draft, a selection of German wines, and German liqueurs. We accept cash and checks only.
