A Bloomington boy that was hit by a car gets a special gift from the Bloomington Police Department

BLOOMINGTON - 9 year old Ethan Cruser was hit by a car while riding his bike to football practice earlier this season.

Ethan suffered a concussion in the accident. He has to sit out the rest of the football season, so the Bloomington Police Department and the Bloomington Edge teamed up to try and lift his spirits.

On Friday, Ethan got an official Bloomington Edge football jersey with his name on the back and he couldn't have been happier.

Officer Michael Perry is the officer who helped Ethan after he was hit by the car.
