Accidental shooting injures one

A Tazewell County man was hurt after he was hit by stray bullets

WASHINGTON, Ill. - A Tazewell County man is recovering after an accidental shooting.

The Tazewell County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Jacob Miller was in a shed in his backyard when he was hit in the arm. Officers found a neighbor nearby was shooting at a target on his property, when two bullets went into Miller's shed.

Miller is expected to recover. The incident is under investigation. Police say they will review criminal charges.
