BARTONVILLE, Ill. - The Bartonville Police Department announces it's purchasing two more body cameras with the help of a grant.
The $1,790 grant was awarded by the Illinois Law Enforcement and Training Standards Board through the Law Enforcement Camera Grant Act.
Bartonville Police officers have been wearing body cameras for over a year and have been able to record efforts made in several crime scenes, accidents and other incidents where a permanent record can show all activity between an officer, suspect or victim.
