Bradley students honor 9/11 victims

They pledged to do a good deed to honor those who lost their lives.

PEORIA - A simple act of kindness, that's what the students on Bradley University's campus pledged to do. It's to honor those who lost their lives 16 years ago today. They wrote down their good deed and hung it on a poster, which connected pictures of the Twin Towers. Rabbi Eli Langsam said it's important for students to remember this event, as most were very young when it happened.

"Some heard of it or watched a movie about it, a documentary, they heard about it from their parents or so on, that's why it's important to make sure that we keep this going every year so that it's engrained and they understand that they world was never the same since 9/11" said Rabbi Eli Langsam, with the Jewish Bradley Chabad.

Langsam said it's a simple way to bring more positivity and love into the world.
