Three shootings, not clear if they are connected

Peoria police are investigating three overnight shootings. It's not clear if they are connected.

Police got the first call at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday to respond to the area of a gas station near Dechman Avenue and Nebraska Avenue. Police confirm a shooting happened there, but no other details were immediately available.

The next call went out to police around 1:50 a.m. Police responded to the 2300 block of Wiswall Street. Police on scene confirm one person was shot. The victim's condition is unknown. That person was taken to the hospital. Police crime scene tape blocked off an area around a back alley.

Then around 2:15 a.m. police got a third call of a shooting. This one happened in the 2300 block of N. University Street near Macqueen Avenue. There was crime scene tape around the area of a driveway. Police say the shooting happened near a back garage. They confirm there were two victims, one ambulance left the scene.

There's no word on the victims' conditions in the N. University St. shooting.

It's unclear at this time if any of these shootings are related.
