CEO living on Peoria roof to raise funds

PEORIA, Ill - A new CEO of a nonprofit is taking drastic steps in his first days to ensure Peoria residents continue to receive services.

Robert Montgomery of the Friendship House will begin his tenure living on the roof of the River City non profit until $500,000 is raised. Any donations raised as part of the effort will benefit the A.C.E.S. program supporting people in self-sufficiency through advocacy, coaching, education and support. Montgomery will hold a press conference next Monday at 4:00 before heading up to the roof.
