Coke supplier arrested in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) worked together to arrest someone in connection with selling illegal narcotics.

On Tuesday, February 13, 25 year-old Rashad Adam, of Glenwood, Illinois, was arrested for multiple charges involving the manufacture and delivery of cocaine.

During the course of the investigation, Adams was suspected to be the main supplier of cocaine to several cocaine dealers in the Bloomington/Normal area.

Law enforcement was able to arrest Adams near the 300 block of North East Street. Over $600 and proof of drug distribution were seized as evidence.

Adams was transported to the McLean County Jail.
