Dunlap School Board to discuss hiring interim and permanent superintendent

DUNLAP - The Dunlap School Board will meet Tuesday to discuss the process of hiring an interim, and eventually permanent, superintendent.

Last week, the Board voted 4-3 to part ways with Dr. Lisa Parker effective December 31st. Parker has been with the district for 24 years, serving as superintendent for 3. The board has yet to provide a reason for the mutual separation agreement.

In addition to discussing the hiring process, the board will also talk about how it will communicate the hiring processes to its stakeholders.

The agenda also includes discussion on facility needs and a swimming pool update.

The meeting begins at 5:30 P.M. at Dunlap High School.
