Friendship House CEO needs help getting off of roof

PEORIA, Ill -             The new president and CEO of the Peoria Friendship House begins his tenure living on the roof of the non-profit this week.

Robert Montgomery, is asking you and members of the community to help donate to the friendship house, and says he will stay on the roof until 500 thousand dollars is reached. Any donations raised as part of the effort will benefit expanding programs. Montgomery hopes to improve education resources and access to healthcare for Peorian’s.

“If somebody joined our continuous giving program that's 8 dollars a month,” said Montgomery. He added, “If we get 1000 or 2000 people to join our continuous giving  program we've got our budget already knocked out,” said Montgomery.

If you would like to donate you can find more information here  Or on their facebook
