Gubernatorial candidate touting plan in Twin Cities

NORMAL - The Chicago Alderman hoping to replace Governor Bruce Rauner in next year's election will stop in Normal Monday.

Democrat Ameya Pawar currently serves as an Alderman in Chicago's 47th Ward, but has the vision of a "New Deal for Illinois." His plan is modeled after President Franklin D. Roosevelt's economic and social policies following the Great Depression.

Pawar will be at the Normal Public Library Monday, February 20, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. to meet voters.
