PEORIA, Ill. – A family has been displaced from their Peoria home after a fire late Friday night.

Peoria firefighters were called to 1321 South Stanley about 11pm to a report of a fire in an upstairs bedroom. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the bedroom, limiting damage throughout the rest of the house. The fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes.
