IL House not expected to vote on SB1 veto

SPRINGFIELD, IL - House Democrats are not expected to vote to override Governor Rauner's amendatory veto on Senate Bill 1, the measure reforming the school funding formula, when they return to Springfield tomorrow.

Instead, Democrat Barbara Flynn Currie filed the amendatory veto as a bill and the House will vote on it.

It is however expected to fail.

Senate Democrats, along with 1 Republican, voted Sunday to override the veto.
