Largest freshman class at Bradley University in decades moves onto campus

More than 1200 students moved into their dorms this morning.

PEORIA - The largest freshman class in decades for Bradley University moved onto campus today.

More than 1200 students moved into their dorms this morning. Move-in events shut down several roads, and the influx of cars caused some delays in traffic.

Parents of new students say they're confident in the school's reputation. "To have a huge class just says something about the university," says Eric Schwartz. "That they're doing things right. That it's a highly respected university."

Students will have plenty of opportunities to get to know the campus. There will be a block party tomorrow afternoon on Fredonia Avenue, and students will give back to the community with a day of service on Monday.
