MORTON, Ill. - Local students are doing their part to help people around the world get access to clean water.
Tuesday, students at Grundy Elementary School in Morton hosted a Clean Water Walk-a-Thon. They asked friends and neighbors to pledge money toward their participation.
"That we can't take things for granted," says 6th grader Taygen Beyer. "We should be thankful for what we have."
Autumn Salter adds, "To see people, how much they want to help out in doing stuff like this."
