Local radio station thinking of soldiers overseas this holiday season

PEORIA, Ill. - 97.3 Nash FM is asking listeners to make thank you cards for soldiers who are unable to come home for the holidays.

The station is collaborating with stations across the country and numerous country recording artists to make this happen.

“Our goal is 100,000 thank you notes, so we have to pull in all of our efforts and anyone that we can. This is going all over the country and we get to be part of that here in Peoria,” said 97.3 Producer Hannah Shea.

The station will collect cards until this Friday and then they’ll be mailed overseas.
