Man sentenced for involvement in drug-induced death

A Bloomington man will spend 20 years in prison for his role in a teenager's drug-induced death.

22-year-old Jeffrey Duhaime of Bloomington was sentenced Friday in Woodford County. In December, he was convicted of the drug-induced homicide of 18-year-old Keionta Williams, also of Bloomington.

Williams was hit by a bus in 2016 while walking along Interstate 39 after a party in Kappa. Officials believe she had been drugged. Two co-defendants in the case, 19-year-old Dakota Dunn and 21-year-old Derik Mool, were also charged with drug-induced homicide, but reached plea agreements.
