OSF Innovation team partners with Ireland Enterprises

EAST PEORIA, Ill. - Enterprise Ireland is the government organization responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. Tuesday, representatives met with OSF Innovation to tour the local facility and discuss their newly acquired partnership.

"The Midwest is a massive area of expansion for Irish companies," said Donal Cummings, VP of Digital Health at Enterprise Ireland. "The opportunities are endless in terms of healthcare and its a real world class destination, there are not too many regions that do it better."

The first goal of the partnership is geared toward helping patients with behavioral issues. The two companies have developed the Silver Cloud Health tool. The tool offers evidence-based therapeutic programs patients use to manage their mental and behavioral health. The interactive application includes mindful exercises, interactive journaling and lifestyle charting to meet weekly goals. The goal of Tuesday's meeting was to discuss possible future collaborations between OSF Innovation and Enterprise Ireland.

Matthew Warrens, VP of Innovations Partnerships at OSF says, "The point in us meeting today was for us to expose our problems and challenges with them so that together we could have the opportunity to solve all of the different problems that are facing our healthcare system."

OSF Innovation and Enterprise Ireland hope to continue its partnership and provide a better way of healthcare to not only Central Illinois but to the entire Midwest region as well.
