Pekin dumpster company owner admits guilt for dumping garbage over money dispute

Dragon Dumps' owner is still cleaning up the mess the incident left

PEKIN, Ill. - The owner of a Pekin dumpster company, who dumped garbage on a customer's property over a money dispute, says he's guilty.

Drew Vice, the owner of Dragon Dumps, dumped garbage on the father of a client's driveway after he didn't pay his bill. At the time, Vice said he was simply returning the garbage that Chad Tarpley didn't pay to dispose of. But now, Vice admits to illegally dumping on private property. Vice will have to pay a $500 fine and court costs plus serve a year of supervision.

Vice is also a firefighter with the city of Pekin. The city hasn't commented about the status of his employment, saying it's unable to discuss personnel matters.
