PEORIA, Ill. - We now know a Peoria City employee was riding in the car with Lt. Michael Boland when he was arrested for DUI.
That's according to PIO Amy Dotson.

The Lieutenant was put on paid administrative leave after the arrest but the Peoria Police Department confirms he is now back on the job.
He is due in court next month.
