Tailgates N' Tallboys draw tourists to Peoria

For their 3rd concert in their summer concert series

Peoria, IL - Thursday night was the 3rd installment of the Tailgate N Tallboys concert series on the Peoria Riverfront. Artists like up and coming country artist Kane Brown are bringing people to the Peoria area. Limelight's marketing director said the summer concerts have attracted music fans from all over.

"The big 3 day weekend we were looking at the numbers that we had back in the beginning of July, we had 30 states that were representative of customers that we had in there" said Leon Edwards.

In addition to their favorite music, fans are getting a taste of the river city.

"It's really good, we found the mall and went shopping, went out to eat, so we like it" said Allyssa Owens, who traveled from Wheatfield, Indiana for the concert.

"We are doing such a wide reach with customers that we have coming to these shows that it's just been amazing for the area" said Edwards.

Owens mentioned people are traveling even farther for the show.

"On Facebook people were coming I saw from Michigan, there was somebody from I think Ohio" said Owens.

"We were just out with one of the bands today and they were talking about how great all of this has been, and how much noise we're making in the industry with what we're doing over the summer" said Edwards.

There are 3 more Tailgate N' Tallboys concerts in September.
