Texas man indicted by federal grand jury in Peoria on child porn charges

He's accused of using four minors for sex acts from September-November 2016

A Texas man was indicted by a federal grand jury in Peoria on child pornography charges.

35-year-old Mark Barnwell was indicted on four counts of producing child porn and one count of commiting a felony offense involving a minor while being required to register as a sex offender.

Barnwell was arrested October 3rd in Texas following a joint investigation by Peoria police, the Peoria County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Secret Service.

According to court documents, Barnwell employed, used, persuaded, coerced and enticed four different minors to engage in sexual acts from September 2016 through November 2016.
