Two juveniles arrested for armed robbery

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Two juveniles are behind bars after getting arrested for armed robbery.

On Thursday, At around 9:30 p.m., Bloomington Police responded to the 3100 block of Winchester Drive for a report of an armed robbery.

It was reported an employee was delivering a pizza at the location. The employee arrived at the delivery location and a black male approached him, displayed a gun, and demanded money from the victim. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash, the pizza delivery bag and fled on foot. 

A short time later, Bloomington Police officers located the pizza delivery bag in a backyard and a subject matching the suspect's description at a nearby residence. Two males juveniles, a14 year old and a 15 year old, were arrested by police. The cash and pizza boxes were recovered on the scene.

The juveniles were transported to the McLean County Juvenile Detention Center.
