GIFFORD -- It's been a windy day across much of Central Illinois, including here. But, it's nothing compared to this time two months ago when a tornado ripped through the village.

People have spent the past couple months trying to fix up their homes. But, there's still more work to do.

Crews were out there Friday despite the bad weather. Workers say weather has been one of their biggest challenges in trying to get their neighborhoods back to normal.

Some men had to shovel snow off a home before working on it. Last week's frigid temperatures didn't help either.

Other homes in the village aren't as far along. Many still need to be torn down before the rebuilding process can begin, but, it definitely looks a lot better than it did in November.
