PEORIA - A new curb, sidewalk, planters and decorative lighting is being put in.
The construction will last about three weeks and a lane from Adams Street to Jefferson street will be open to accommodate traffic.
“This has the planter boxes which have a lot of detail into them so that they can handle the storm water. Infiltrate the storm water. So there is a lot of underground work that the public won't see,” said Karen Dvorsky, who oversees the project.
Oak and Hightower in Peoria will be closed on the City side of the intersection on Tuesday from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.
