"It's hot and people are gonna be running. I thought they would like to help raise money and have a lemonade stand" says Laws.
She sells it… along with fruit punch from her front yard. For a small donation, anyone who happens to walk, ride, or drive past, can have a gulp of her homemade recipes. But Kierstin isn't doing this to pad her piggy bank. She has a high purpose for this cash.
"All the money is going to go to Easter Seals. I'm trying to help out and make a difference in the world" says Laws.
Her mother Rayanna Laws exclaims, "It makes me happy that she still wants to do it. I'm very proud. She never stops amazing me."
This is the 6th year Kierstin raised money for Easter Seals. In total, she has given away almost $2,000. Her next big venture is a car wash at the Autozone in Pekin on June 22nd.
