Nearly 100 Illinois residents opposed to fracking protested Governor Quinn Wednesday at the State Fair. Demonstrators rallied with chants, signs and had a giant Governor Quinn puppet. Dozens of Illinois People's Action leaders from Bloomington, Peoria, Springfield and Decatur joined allies from across the state at the event to demand the governor side with them on the issue of fracking. Dozens of protestors chanted at the lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel where the governor was holding his brunch.
