Big-rig enthusiasts are rolling into the river city.
Tractors, trailers, and all of the top of the line truck accessories are in the spotlight at the Peoria Civic Center.
They’re here for the annual Midwest Truck and Trailer show.
Truckers get an up-close look at the latest trends and issues facing the trucking industry.
The biggest draw though, the trucker’s pride beauty contest, where drivers can show off their hard work.
"It gives them a chance to really go over a truck in detail without feeling pressured to buy anything,” said Don Schaefer of the Midwest Truckers Association.
The convention runs all day Saturday from nine to four at the Peoria Civic Center.
Admission is free with promotional tickets.
