BLOOMINGTON - A family in Bloomington is left with no home after an early morning Saturday fire.

Bloomington fire fighters responded to the 3300- block of Carrington lane just before 5:00 a.m. Crews found a house totally involved in flames. Residents first noticed the blaze in the back patio area and say it quickly spread into the attic.

The four occupants got out in time, but the family's dog died in the fire. The fire department estimates damages to cost $900,000. The red cross is working with the family. Crews are still investigating the cause of this blaze.
