Peoria - The delegates from the nation of Botswana continue to tour the river city, talking business with Peoria Friday afternoon.

They held a roundtable with city officials to talk about a business partnership between their city of Jwaneng and Peoria.

Diamonds are the main industry of Botswana.

With equipment from Caterpillar and Komatsu being used constantly, the delegation believes a partnership would be mutually beneficial.

"Botswana is peaceful”, said Botswana Ambassador to U.S Dr. Tebelelo Seretse. “Because Botswana is English speaking, you will not struggle with communication, and because an index called the Ease of Doing Business ranks Botswana in the top three in the whole of Africa."

The delegation will return home tomorrow.
