BLOOMINGTON- The Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal is making its final push for its annual fundraiser.

The club is trying to raise $50,000 for the "It Just Takes One" campaign.

They have currently raised more than $37,000 so far.

The money will go towards the club's operating funds.

Grant Anderson, Boys and Girls Club Executive Director, says that the donations will help keep membership fees low so no child is turned away.

"Kids will tell you the impact the club has had on their life either academically or from a mentoring perspective that this club does change lives," added Anderson.

The Boys and Girls Club helps over 70 kids per day.

The campaign ends May 31st.

If you would like donate, you can send a check to the club at 1615 W Illinois St, Bloomington, IL 61701 or visit their website at and click on the "Donate" button.
