BPD Investigating Monday Night Incidents

BLOOMINGTON - Police detectives are still investigating a pair of fights from late Monday night.

Just after 11 p.m., police were called to the 900 block of West Jefferson Street for a stabbing.

According to the report, police say they were, "surrounded by a large crowd who threatened to physically hurt and kill officers."

On the way there, they were called to another fight a block away on Monroe. And it had ties to the first fight.

Police say there were several injuries, including a 22-year-old bleeding from the head. Police added a brick was thrown through a window and it hit an 88- year-old man in the wrist. The investigation is ongoing.
