The school has restricted street parking and on campus parking to accommodate the traffic.
Many intersections will be closed starting at 7a.m. Saturday morning.
The intersections include Elmwood and Main street, St. James and University, Duryea and Bradley, and Bradley and Institute.
Illinois State Police and the City of Peoria will assist Bradley officers in directing traffic.
Bradley is expecting about 12-hundred students to move in tomorrow, so efficiency is key.
“The idea there is to try and get traffic moving as quickly as possible through that area. So, the west most lane or right lane will be Bradley only traffic and the left lane of that will be the through traffic to keep people moving through the area that need to traverse through that area,” explained Brian Joschko, the Chief of University Police at Bradley.
State troopers, Peoria Police, and Bradley University officers will be heavily patrolling that area.
They advise anyone planning on traveling through the area to allow extra time and to be patient.
