BU Expecting Record Turn Out At Annual Job Fair

PEORIA – Some good news for Bradley University students look for a job or internship.

BU hosted its annual fall job fair on Thursday and it’s expecting a record turn-out from employers.

A spokesperson for the university said a record 157 companies signed up to meet with prospective employees.

Some of those employers include COUNTRY Financial, Caterpillar, and Maui Jim. Jon Neidy with the BU Smith Career Center said, “The companies that are here are looking for both jobs, students graduating in December, for spring jobs. They'll also do some job offers for spring at this time. They're also looking or internships for the spring and summer.”

The university said it has a 95 percent placement rate for students getting a job within six months of graduation.
