It's all part of “Cheri on Shift."
She travels through the district and learns different jobs from different people in the community.
Bustos stopped at Rhythm Kitchen not only to serve up some food, but to learn more about restaurants using locally grown food.
The congresswoman is a part of the agriculture committee where they are working on funding farmer's markets.
“There are food deserts in our area, which means that there are areas where we need to make sure access to fruits and vegetables are made more available to folks living in this area where it’s harder to have access to that," Bustos said.
Bustos made a couple other trips as well today. She went to some small businesses in Pekin and toured the Fulton County Rural Transit Program.
