Peoria - Two of Peoria's main attractions teamed up for a special event Thursday morning.

One of the world's smallest cars made its way from the Peoria Riverfront Museum to the Caterpillar Visitors Center.

The car was side by side with one of the world's largest mining trucks. Organizers say it would take more than 6,000 of the tiny cars to match the weight of one mining truck.

"It has the distinction of being one of the several worst 50 cars ever made” said Peoria Riverfront Museum CEO Sam Gappmeyer. “Just because of its size and the risk of actually driving it in traffic."

The 198 lb car will be put next to the 1.3 million lb truck. This was the only time the car will be at the Caterpillar Visitors Center. It's part of the Ripley's Believe It or Not Exhibit at the Riverfront Museum.
