NORMAL - More than 50,000 ears of corn got people swarming the Twin Cities this weekend.

The Town of Normal hosted its annual Sweetcorn Blues Festival.

People could enjoy Uptown Normal, listen to blues music, and dig in to some sweet corn.

The two day festival is meant to highlight one of the biggest money makers in McLean County.

Normal Town Council Member Chuck Scott said, "One of the top producing counties in the world, for both corn and soybeans. It's just a good way to show off the agribusiness community and the things that they're able to accomplish."

This is the 26th year Normal has hosted the festival.
