Country Life Music Festival Starts out with a "Twang"

PEORIA - Crowds have packed at Ravina on the Lakes for Peoria's first-ever Country Life music festival

Kellie Pickler, Montgomery Gentry, and Hank Williams Jr. headlined Friday night. .

People from all over the country are in town for the concert.

Central Illinois residents say they are excited that a large country event like this has come to Peoria.

Joshua Joos of Metamora said, "Oh, I think it's great. It gets everybody together, you know, to come out here. You don't know who you're going to see, and you run in to people you know, people you haven't seen in a while. It's great for the community."
