A South Carolina driver, charged in connection with the death of a Pontiac Police officer in October, is asking a judge to move his upcoming trial to another county because of pre trial publicity. A judge Tuesday set a July hearing date to consider the motion for 33 year old Jason Collins. He's charged with aggravated DUI and reckless homicide in connection with an accident which killed Officer Casey Kohlmeier and his K 9 partner, Draco. Authorities say Collins was northbound on I 55 near Route 23 last October when his car struck the officer's squad car. Collins bond remains at a million dollars and he's back in court July 15th.
