DWIGHT- The Village of Dwight is pulling together to help the community heal after a deadly shooting in June.

Neighbors have been busy making blue ribbons in honor of Donna and Kelli Denker, who were shot and killed inside their home in June.

The ribbons are being sold at Dwight businesses including Centrue Bank and Sunnyside Tanning and Video for $5.

So far, community members have raised more than $200.

People have put the ribbons on trees and mailboxes.

Organizers say it's a small token of healing to show support for the Denker family.
