DWIGHT- Authorities in Livingston County continue to investigate a deadly shooting that happened this weekend.

Dwight Police responded to 200 West North Street around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Sixty year old Donna Denker and thirty year old Kelli Denker, both of Dwight, were found dead inside.

Autopsies performed Monday revealed both women died of gunshot wounds.

They also found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was alive and taken to an area hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police say he is currently recovering from his wounds.

There is no new information about his identity.

But neighbors tell WMBD 31 that he is Kelli Denker's boyfriend.

Authorities are still looking for suspects.

Dwight residents say they remain shocked that an incident like this happened in their small community.

"It's very sad. I mean, it's just shocking because you wouldn't expect something like this to happen here and especially to people you know. So it's heartbreaking and we're very sad for the whole family," said Jerry Salzburg, a Dwight resident of nearly fifty years.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Dwight Police Department at 815-584-3132.
