PEORIA- The destinies of more than forty Peoria medical students were revealed today,

Students from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria found out where they will complete their residency programs.

The docs were delivered their fate in an envelope.

Fourth year medical students across the country took part in 'Match Day.'

Students say it's one of the most important and nerve racking days of these future doctors' young careers.

“I don't think I was really that nervous, or, it wasn't really hitting me that much this whole week, until I picked up that envelope and they started counting,” said future Harvard resident Charlie Jain.

The residencies will take between three and seven years to finish their programs.
